William P Trebing, Chiropractor in Greenwich
“I have created the "Spinal Resonance" technique as a light-touch, energy-release modality which prepares the spine for ultra effective structural adjustments. I also have a specialty in lower back and neck disc herniation difficulties, as well as the correction and management of scoliosis (spinal curvature) using varying traction, light-touch and toggle-recoil techniques to promote healing. Christopher L Lavoie, Chiropractor in Wethersfield
“Years ago something happened to me that changed my life forever. I played varsity football at Kingswood-Oxford for three years. Throughout that time I suffered many injuries, especially to my neck. By senior year, I was suffering from DAILY neck pain. It got so bad, I was unable to sit for longer than 20 minutes without propping my head up with pillows. Plus, I was getting headaches almost every day. My medical doctor recommended Ibuprofen, which did not help much. Otherwise, basically, he told me I would have to live with it. And I did, for over two years.

“My 25 years of experience has taught me that not one therapy can do it all. As a nation we have become to dependent on pharmaceuticals. As a result health in the U.S is deteriorating. It took most people a lifetime to get to the state they're in today. Health can't be achieved in a couple of days or weeks even. But, with a unique blend of therapies, working together, we can help you with you acute or chronic pain, poor health and deteriorating quality of life.

Thomas T Kollars, Chiropractor in Stonington
“I can't begin to relate everything that has happened for me with Dr. Kollars & Dr. Hersh but I can tell you that I am not the same person who began treatment in 2011. What I would like to relate from my healing experience with FIXDHealthCare is this...simply trust them. Dr. Kollars may be unlike anything else that you have ever experienced in mainstream chiropractic medicine. My experience with them has shown me that both Dr. Kollars & Dr. Hersh were truly focused on me being able to regain my health, to be fixed.

Chiropractic in Connecticut (CT) - is it right for me?
Connecticut (CT) Chiropractors specialize in the interactions between our nerves, muscles and skeleton and their effects on our general health. They diagnose problems and use manual therapy, including joint adjustment and manipulation, to prevent and treat them.

Many people who seek Connecticut (CT) chiropractic care do so for help with back pain, especially lower back pain, neck pain and headache. Spinal adjustment in Connecticut (CT) or chiropractic adjustment is the most common method of treatment--it refers to the manual adjustment by the chiropractor of the three-joint complex at the base of your spine with sufficient force to create a sensation of 'release', increasing the joint's range and reducing pain.

A treatment plan may involve one or more manual adjustments. Many chiropractors in Connecticut (CT) also incorporate nutritional counseling, exercise or rehabilitation into the treatment plan.
How is a Chiropractor licensed?
The Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) in Connecticut (CT) must complete four academic years at a school accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education, as well as a one-year internship at an outpatient clinic owned and run by a chiropractic college. They are tested and certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and licensed by the state in which they practice. To maintain licensure in most states, practitioners must complete a certain number of continuing education hours annually.

There are several schools of chiropractic adjustment techniques, although most chiropractors mix techniques from several schools. Some Applied Kinesiologists in Connecticut (CT) are qualified as Chiropractors.
