Linda Nelson Whitman, DC, Chiropractor in Santa Barbara
I love a client who is interested in improving their health and quality of life. I love a challenge, and am willing to partner with other professionals in creating a care plan for an individual patient. I like to work with people of all ages, and have the most fun on the busy days in my practice. I've seen good results in a number of cases, some even after a person has exhausted many other avenues of care, including post-surgical cases. Because the technique used in this office is very low force, it is safe for most every case.
Directional Non-Force Technique (DNFT) is one of the oldest low force chiropractic techniques, pioneered by Dr. Richard Van Rumpt in the 1930's. It is very low force, and very pleasant. There is no twisting, "popping" or "cracking" involved; no sudden movements. Extremely low risk of injury.
I am the daughter, neice, and cousin of chiropractors. My mother was the first to enter the profession. She and I still share the office, though she works less hours than I do, being past retirement age. We both love what we do so much, it doesn't seem like work.
